I took Flidais up to the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest to watch the Perseid meteor shower and celebrate the new moon in Leo. A new cycle.
This cycle brings rare gifts from the Strawberry Tree, two great events (my birthday and the start of my trip), changes and freedom, luxuries and pleasure, and happiness that could arrive in a strange way. I am honored by Jaguar medicine, the lessons of integrity and impeccability. Power comes from an honorable and loving heart, I will take care not to misuse this power, to not judge or be self-serving, to be kind and do good deeds without expectation. I am remaining openhearted, in line with my dignity, devotion, and compassion. I will do my best, I know that honesty is more important than anything, even when it feels like it might hurt, being forthright is always less painful in the end. Do not feed any self-important need to be an "enlightened one"... Remembering to make space for mistakes, to embrace forgiveness, and to re-center, re-align, and come home to my self. The message of the Violet Flame speaks to the pain and challenges that I have been facing, reminding me that the shadows are not to be feared but to be faced head-on. By moving through the shadows I will see more clearly what (and who) is and isn't working in my life, where I am holding myself back and getting in my own way of my process. In the center of the fractal image is a bat- the medicine of rebirth and change. I call in this energy of rebirth and change to bring me clarity of my path and how I want to walk it. What a perfect way to enter this personal new year and the beginning of my travels.
